your images of war and loss are all very powerful, as always. This series has two children clutching each other for protection against the horrors of the world. You've made their hair very timeless---in fact, in many ways they have "renaissance" hair, the kinds of curls that Michelangelo made in his sculptures. It makes them ancient, and timeless...but also very real for today. Terrific detail. In some of the images, the children are more scared than in others; in others, they're more into holding each other. In all cases, there is dearness in their portrayal, yet we're aware that---just beyond the frame---war goes on. (Ukraine, Gaza, Africa, etc.)
And the last image is two different children (again, you give us a total change in your final image): They clutch each other in a deep forest...And, while the forest is beautiful, we don't know what terrors lurk in it, or just beyond it. A touching and beautifully done series. And fine job on the children's torn clothing, and the powerful light coming from outside the frame...
