Yikes, here in South Texas if a plant creeps like this it has thorns and spines and is a night mare to work with and around =).

Some people hate this because it 'gets everywhere' but others love how it covers well everything and are actually talented at controlling where it climbs. This one was isolated to the abandoned utility pole so it looks like they have it well under control. It does look amazing if it isn't running out of control
