Description
Fandango is a popular dance born in the 1600s: it's danced in Spain and Portugal. In Spain people dance it in pairs or in groups, but in Portugal there's a variant performed by two men: it represents a fight, a challenge between the two. It's danced by moving only the legs, the hands hold the jacket or go behind the back, the sound of the heels hitting the ground is part of the musical accompaniment. The funny part is that the two approach looking angry and on the verge of beating each other.
