Yui wasn't my only best friend, I have another friend, another best friend and just like Yui, she never judged me and every minute we spent together felt special. We first met a few weeks after I moved in with mum and from the first moment I met Lenola, sparks flew and we became best friends. Even when I couldn't speak, she never seemed to mind, just a silent giggle and smile was enough for her to be happy to spend more time with me. Of course Lenola was also the one who after months of locked lips, finally broke my silence. I remember that Christmas and how shocked mum was that after months of trying everything and searching for new ideas, all it took to break my lips was a hyperactive three year old with a new toy. Fae was astounded as were Lenola's parents too, I don't think anyone expected to hear my voice for the first time that Christmas day, even if it was to ask Lenola to be quiet. Things have changed a lot since that day, we've shared adventures together and of course Lenola is four years old now and getting bigger. Thankfully, I'm still Lenola's canvas of choice when she's painting, I guess my belly is better than paper? Though sometime I have to remember that her poster paints can get everywhere! Not that mum minds, after all Lenola did help Fae to finally find my first unknown weakness. Evelyn and Tony both warned me that Fae was sharp when it came to noticing details and when Lenola painted my stomach for the first time, Fae heard that subtle shift in pitch of my giggling. Fae knew exactly what Lenola had just gifted her, even if I didn't even know just how tickly my belly was, mum soon helped me learn that on that same evening....Thanks for that Lenola! The truth is though that I love Yui and Lenola both the same but I'm glad that Yui works at the cafe on Sunday mornings, because at least if she is working I don't have to refuse more time with my best friend so that I can spend a few more hours with my other best friend Lenola.
