Hello!
I'm scott...or Nicodemuz...my username is taken from the the Biblical account found in the book of John...where Nicodemus...a priest in Judaism of Christ's day; came to Jesus by night...and asked if Jesus was the promised Messiah from the Old Testament books of Genesis,Psalms, and Isaiah. Jesus replied that a man cannot come unto the father except he be Born Again...flesh is flesh and spirit is spirt...the Rebirth that Jesus spoke of was of the spirit through faith in His (Jesus)being God in the flesh and coming to die for our trangressions (ie...sins, wrong, unrighteousness.) against a Holy God.
I have always appreciated Nicodemus because He came and asked a question of Jesus that was not intending to trick Him or to trap Him...He had an honest question. I've come to find out that so many times we go to God on our own terms, instead of His terms...which is in total submision and humility. I also find at times I am guilty of going to God on my terms...but I chose this name because I wish I were more like Nicodemus towards God. Like Nicodemus I have believed on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord...
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believeth...
This does not mean I will stomp on your faith...but it does mean that if you do not have Christ I believe according to the Bible and that you will be judged accordingly. I pray you will respect this...It may seem intolerant to some, but I believe that God is far more intolerant to sin then I am to other faiths...and He calls all to repent or be damned...to hell...according to His word. " For there is none righteous...no not one." "The wages of sin is death(eternal.) God is Holy and cannot allow sin into his pure and Holy presence...it goes against all that He is. None can enter His presence that die in their sins. I do not believe I am better then you...on the contrary...Sometimes my utter wretchedness is quite plain to me when I compare myself to an Infinite and Holy God...but I have admitted my guilt before God and asked Him to save me through Christ's finished work on the cross. He promised He would save me. Therefore I am saved. Everlasting life is His promise to simple faith in Him...
It is hard because it is so simple...its difficulty is in its simplicity...it is obscure because it is so clear.
Thus said...My art at times will reflect my beliefs and faith in Jesus Christ. Please be tolerant...as I am with some of the works here at renderosity. There is much nudity and other things here at renderosity that God's Word clearly states are perverse...but I rarely make divisive comments. You have a right to post your works; as do I.
I know this is not a religious forum...but all of us at times will post things that are near and dear to our hearts...I personally dwell on Christ. We are all people and we can disagree without hating one another.

Great start :) Some critics (Even if I would really happy to do the same as what is already done:) ) Yoou should have a look to the banc perspective (seems to be a problem), maybe the bump of the road is a little to big, I would maybe try to have one of the light broken (to match with the abandon of the place), some papers or whatever on the road too. Anyway, really good work :)

Nice atmosphere and mood... I agree with Abraham, the street stones are much too large and a broken lamp and some papers in the street would be the icing on the cake.
