Description
It's the first time I upload a picture to this gallery, and I'm a bit nervous about it. I like taking photograps, but I'm still more or less a beginner. So, there is lots to learn for me.
This picture is one I took about 2 years ago of our cat Whiskey. It's difficult to take pictures of him, cause he always wants to inspect my camera from upclose. So I took a paper shopping bag to distract him. He loves to inspect them from inside. :)
I used PSP to make the picture black and white, and to sharpen it, cause after I scanned it the picture looked a bit blurred.
Comments and tips are welcome.
Thank you for watching,
Rynn

Aren't cats the greatest!! I don't have any pets, but I can live vicariously thru all the member's pets! The handles of the bag help draw your eyes to Whiskey's intense eyes. Our eyes are first drawn to the lightest part of an image. Keep this in mind when you shoot for the "hero." Great first time Rynn!!

I think you did a fantastic job on this! A very cool picture!! I would love to see more of your photography work. I like taking pictures myself, but I can't seem to find any good subjects, except for the squirrels and birds, which I bug to death with the camera. haha but very good work!!! I look forward to seeing more :)

Such a great shot of a beautiful cat! Yes it's difficult to capture them properly especially the young ones, always want to play with your camera, your hands, clothes etc. ;~)
