Greetings, all! I’ve been a bit of a stranger here lately, but I’m still kicking.
I have a good 30 – 40 some-odd renders stashed away on a couple external drives that just need a few finishing touches. This was one of them. It’s 1920 X 1080, so if you’d like it as wallpaper, feel free.
I’ve been using Poser for what – 14 years or so? I’ve done a little bit of tinkering with it’s innards, but I still have much to learn. More than I thought after my last mess-up!
I was trying to set up my own material runtime folder for some of my gazillion or so fun things to use for materials in scenes. Well, long story short, I managed to muck things up pretty well. I’m still not sure what the hell I did.. I’m still trying to figure that out.
Anyway, during the process of attempting to get things back to something like normal, I managed to delete a couple folders Poser was very fond of. It would inform me it was looking for this file, that file, and some other file when I started it up. Fortunately, I have backups of everything, so it’s working properly now. So far, anyway.
I’m in a bit of a pause with the TNA story, but not to worry – it will be back soon.
For this image, I found a nice .obj file for the workbench, so I imported it into Poser, and used the wood materials the bench came with. Now, I need to whip something up for the swimsuit contest!

I think most people who have used a computer for any length of time have made the mistake of deleting some file (or files) that their software needs to function. Not fun! Glad you're still here though I note there are several images in your gallery that I did not see notifications for. I'll try and look in later!

I'm glad to hear you were able to keep poser working, myself had a mishap. my computer went into an infinite repair loop. when that happened, I lost my last work's. and now, my new computer doesn't want to run my characters...
I'm now trying to get them to work on it.

I wish I had more time to appreciate 'Poser' and so many other interests, however real life prevails and is a first priority... safe vacationing for those that do, and I also offered my backgrounds for any who care to share an artistic expression.

I recently accidentally deleted all my poser files recently and so the search through ancient CD backups begins...lol

I've polished off another cool car model (which I'm still finding a good way to render), and as I type this I'm working on a joke car this time. It's such a joke of a car that it exceeds the Pontiac Aztek, AMC Pacer and Cadillac Cimarron combined.

Ah, the curses of runtime folders...so easy to mess up where things are linked to, had a few scares myself (though not too bad thankfully!) Very lovely scene you've put together here, you've got so many fine details right down the pictures hanging up there. :)
