The femme fatale was caught with the still smoking gun at the scene of her crime.

This one started out as a redux of my 2020 artwork titled “The Lady in Red” which itself was a redux of an artwork of mine from 2010 with the same title. I opened up the original scene file from 2020, saved it as a new file, and began editing and improving it bit by bit. I updated most of the materials to work better with Superfly, updated the light setup, changed the posing of both characters, switched out the La Femme 1 for a La Femme 2 character, and then I postworked the render in an entirely different way with far more details. Due to the fact that I changed it so much, and because the former title is too cliche, I decided to give this new artwork a new title.

Dang - She had some hot rounds in that piece! She definitely lit him up, and did so in style! This is outstanding, Lizzie! I love the sun shining through the bullet hole in the wall. Lots of great details in this one!

Thank you so much, Rod! I had fun adding all those little details though it took me a while to figure out how to illustrate the bullet hole in the wall. I did that all in postwork. :)
