I really like your version of this, Lizzie! Rey looks great and ready for action, and the addition of the Falcon and T.I.E. fighters fits perfectly.
Draping clothing can be a major-league PITA, but you did a great job here. I'm pretty sure you composited Rey and BB onto the BG (i.e. they were on their own layer) - I've used the "liquefy" filter in PS a number of times for flowing drapery / clothing. It's pretty effective when used very subtly.
Really nice job on the sandy surface and footprints - and the sand on her boots!

No composites. That's a fully rendered scene from Rey all the way back to the ships and sky. The depth of field really makes her stand out. The only layers added were the footprints and the sand particles. :) I never thought of using the liquify tool for flowy clothing! I'll have to try that out next time. :D In this case I used the morph tools inside Poser 13 and added some translucency to the skirt pieces' material shader.
