Description
King Albert of Welland is dying, stricken by a magical curse that neither his physicians nor his wizards can lift. Pursuing a clue given to them by Iunella, the Oracle of Nubestes, the ladies Alyse and Lisbeth traveled to a world called Argonia to obtain a holy relic, the Crucifix of St. Margaina, that can break the spell and save their king. Time is short, however, and the only way the pair can carry the relic back to the king before he dies is to risk the Gate Between Worlds.
The gate is guarded by the king's enemies. To save their sovereign, the two heroes will have to fight their way through a small army of well-armed defenders.
