Description
Another one of the appetizer options during the 2024 Summerlicious at the iSLAS Filipino BBQ and Bar was the Chicken Empanadas. It had a wonderfully buttery and flaky crust which surrounded the contents of chicken, peas, carrots and potato. On the side there was a sauce of spicy aioli (a garlic and oil sauce that reminds people of mayo but it IS different - it uses a different kind of oil and it doesn't have eggs like mayo.

Well, I like chicken most ways. But I never heard of this. Kind of looks like a fish with the eye still in it. Glad it's not. Cause I ain't eating anything with the eye still in it.
