Description
On this very day in 1980, AC/DC released their sixth album Back In Black, the first featuring singer Brian Johnson who replaced Bon Scott who had died that February. The album, faturing the memorable riff-laden title track as well as the classic "Hells Bells" has proven thier most successful to date, and has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide, making it best-selling heavy rock album of all time.
As an aside, it also spawned one of the most memorable/hilarious record reviews of all time. When the single "Rock'n'Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" was released in the UK, the rather pretentious New Musical Express (NME) simply reviewed it in three words... "Yes it is". What do they know? 🤣

The song ? I'd prefer "back to black" ! The singer (guitar player) ? I'd prefer this lovely woman...

You narrative made me search my music collection and I still have the original Black in Black version done by Bon Scott and the instrumental work in it is very different to the Album version with Brian Johnson. Both versions are awesome but personally I prefer the Album version for driving in my car.
Cool scene and made me all Nostalgic :)
