Description

Ages ago, I read a fantastic book by Richard Matheson - The Incredible Shrinking Man. Matheson went on to write the script for the film adaptation which resulted in a movie of power and interest, even today. The climax occurs when our shrinking hero faces the focal point of all his doubts and fears - a, now gigantic, spider. Models - Michael by DAZ 3D Tarantula by noggin (RMP) Objects - Needle by deerpath (thank you, Kev) Spool and Matchbox from House Mouse Mouse House by DAZ 3D Hair - Chloe Hair by Traveler (RDNA)

I think this is amazing. You've taken props and models from all over the place that in normal circumstances would have nothing to do with one another and put them together in this image. I particularly like the way the spider is posed.

It's not often nowdays for someone to remember the literary sources that spawned many of our favorite movies. Examples: The Sentinel = 2001: a Space Odyssey, Farewell to the Master = The Day the Earth Stood Still, Who Goes There? = The Thing, etc. Good call going with the spider. Somehow, I don't think the Toonimal Kitty would have provided the same level of drama. ;-) Sincerely, Bill
