I can only do one of your wonderful images right now---I'm not concentrated enough to do lots, but the next time I'm here I'll do to a lot more, I promise...
But I say that with regret, 'cause steve, you have a terrrrrific eye. Your design work is first-rate, your portrait work---how you capture mood, feel, etc---is first-rate, and your color sense is through the roof. (Your most recent, "Ninja Cat," is soaked in wonderful greens...the "China Town," is soaked in wonderful reds---oozing with film noir darkness and sinister creepiness---and so on. And your "Your Place or Mine" shows another talent of yours: capturing rich light in deep darkness. Whoosh.)
This is one of your delightful cartoon collections, with a regal model in the center, and a beautiful mountainscape in the background.
Love the waterfall too, and the light shining from heaven...
And then the array of those wonderful cartoon characters---sorry, I've forgotten the names: It's been a long absence for me! (bong, right? at least I got one). Great gathering around yourm odel...it's like she's teaching them, or showing them some magic.
You get good separation of characters from background too. Everything is crystal clear.
You're a marvel at this, steve, you just are...you do one eye-popper after the next. I've seen all your pieces as they go up, but sitting here and commenting reminds me how explosive your eye is. Wow...haven't seen a lot of these characters in a very long time, glad you dusted them off for an outing. Awesome work and a certain sense of nostalgia for me :)
