Description

After the floods, food was scarce so Ellie the Eagle roamed far and wide looking for something worthwhile to take back to her nest high in the cliffs, way above the water level. On approaching one of her favorite perches to her amazement there it was, a large snake had climbed to the dead tree branch to escape the water. From the looks of things there is certain to be a Confrontation!... To be continued...

deevee, as I'm from a flood devastating country, I like your approach. My humble opinion ... you might wanna make the water more dirty (or muddy) & there has to be some green somewhere. :) Keep it up.

Based on the comments received, I have decided to add some greenery and to muddy the water. The jury is still out as to if the image has been improved! I am however to open to try suggestions. Thanks for viewing. DeeVee.

didnt see the image before, but I like this one. We have scenes like this back home in Arkansas in the river bottoms during the spring. Eagles included....the area will flood along the river driving the snakes into the trees like that to stay out of harms way and keeps them warm and in the sun. And in Ft.Smith it's not unusual to see eagles perching up on tall dead trees protruding from the water..also, makes for some excellant fishing when the waters are like that. The food source in the water is stirred up and the big boys come out of their hiding spots to feed on the plentiful food supply. Great job. I liked your story behind this one too.
