I'm retired US Navy and have recently taken up the hobby of 3D rendering.
The stunner who took the selfie with me is my wife of 26 years this October.
Miss Renderosity is my very first published 3D work of any kind anywhere. Great contest, I've learned a lot. My wonderful wife has sincerely and devotedly encouraged me in this contest; a new reason to love her every time I turn around...

You have definitely succeeded with the look and feel of the original Star Trek universe, Jim. The bridge dialogue is perfect, and of course the bridge and different camera angles add to that atmosphere. Well done, Sir!
I like how you've used the multi-upload feature to display the frames here - I may have to look into that...
Good chatting with you last night - always a pleasure! Hope those storms leave you un-molested!

Excellent work you did here... only I won't comment much about it, seeing I'm in no position to tell you anything. I'll be waiting to see more.

Thank you, seems I must have done ok with her. Did you focus on the green gal because your avatar is a green gal?
I was inspired by Star Trek Continues in an episode called "Lolani."
