I stumbled across a black and white picture from Time Tunnel on FaceBook of all places just yesterday, which included a link to the theme and announcer's intro. This is a remarkable reproduction, especially considering that it's relatively obscure these days. References must have been difficult to find.
Well done!

Thanks and yes I came across a group dedicated to the Time Tunnel. That is what motivated me to do this piece :)

Radioham, according to Wikipedia, ABC cancelled the show shortly before the end of the first season. There may have been some indications that the show was being cancelled, as they intended to have an episode where they were brought back. However, ABC cancelled the show before the episode could be filmed.

Thanks much and yes you're right aout the cancellation. I really was not a big fan of the show because the seemed to always go to places in time that were almost the same set up, as with most of Irwin Allens productions Thanks again for the comment

You're welcome. And you're right: even the Wikipedia article comments on the formula each episode followed. Arrive, get captured, escape, get captured again, escape again, fix what needs fixing almost incidentally to the escapes, and move to a new time and place.
At any rate, I'm glad to have stumbled across this article so I could pass it on to others; it was a long time ago for me, too, and I'd forgotten so much.
