Good evening / night / day !
I hope you are fine. In Europe, most of the countries suffer of heat waves. There is even a huge burning in Greece near Athens. I'm so sad for them and our poor planet Earth.
During my vacation in Italy, I've seen days with 39 or 40°C (more than 100°F). This is most unusual and terrible.
Let's hope we will find soon a solution against global warming !
So, let's talk about an happier subject : I've captured this photography in Tuscany several days ago.
It was taken in the famous Chianti region at about 30 km from Florence. I had a great time seeing these beautiful landscapes. It was much more hilly than I thought and it was wonderful to see these famous wineyards as well as the olive trees.
I will keep some real good memories of Tuscany :-)

global warming is hurting all over our planet. the news about our future in 20 years say a lot of countries will be way too hot to hold future Olympic games. and that is just a grain of salt yet to come. love the area capture. looks beautiful now.

Je me disais "où est notre Souris ?" et la voici, du moins une de ses belles photos, nous enchantant avec ce paysage de Toscane (qui me rappelle des souvenirs). Rien à redire : les lignes de composition sont parfaites, le cadrage aussi...bref, du grand, du beau...du Virginiese, en un mot .

Très belle vue d’une merveilleuse région d’Italie c’est très réussi, heureusement chez nous, la chaleur est devenue moins suffocante mais je pense que l’on devra dorénavant s’adapter à ce genre de situation… hélas !

Je t'imaginais encore en Italie, mais je vois que tu es déjà rentrée, avec cette très belle photo typique de la Toscane au relief tout en ondulations. Malgré les fortes chaleurs, le paysage n'a pas du tout l'air desséché, mais si les températures continuent à augmenter en moyenne, la qualité des vins risque d'en pâtir. Pour l'heure, ta superbe photo me fait rêver à tout ce que l'Italie a apporté à notre culture française et européenne...en attendant de voir ce que tu as rapporté de Florence, je ne parle pas du peposo ou du lampredotto, mais de tes photos :-)

I live in San Diego, California and this summer has been the hottest one I have experienced in many years here. it seems that this heat wave has been felt by many all around the world.
