Whatever War touches, looses its Innocence. Landscapes, Societies, Men, Cultures.
Adapted from classical greek Statues of Athena in Blender, heavy Postwork and BG in Gimp.
I wonder, what the ancient Gods saw in Mankind, that made their Faces and Hearts turn to Stone?

I love your narrative, it's interesting to me. The sad image that you created, the facial expression, is very typical, and radiates both sorrow, but it is also very refined.
Perhaps the gods were disappointed by the actions of humanity—the wars, the greed, and the destruction of what was sacred. Their faces and hearts turned to stone as a response to this disappointment, a sign of their withdrawal and the loss of their ability to be touched by the world.

Well deserved! Its a good and peaceful Composition that caught my eye! Some fine Images I perceive only late, beacuse of the permanent "Carnival" in here. I´ve looked further in Your Gal and Yours are very fine; they point to a friendly Character! :)
Glad that "Sad Athena" met Your preferences. But maybe You should not look at these dark ones, it of no good for the Soul! :)

Very strong theme and render. I would never have guessed Blender was used. Lovely painterly style.

You are right, Blender was only used to add Hair and "repair" Issues! The Worklflow is to extract the models via Photogrammetry from Statues antiques and give them Browes and Hair in Blender. Then in Gimp the BG was changed and after a lot of blurring and masking that is the Result.
