Description

The first time I tried out the MetaObjects plug-in I knew that one day I wanted to make an image with a biosphere. Now, with the update of this plug-in you can strut any object, so it was time to bring the plan to fruition. The beach texture is a mixture of three textures from ambientLight's ALNG Beach Texture Collection, and the textures for the wall and the alien landscape came from ambientLight's ALNG Concrete Texture Collection.

Thank you, everybody! Yes, it would be fun to visit a place like this, wouldn't it? :) Carl: Oh yes, I love your textures! You can layer them, mix-and-match them, etc. to give variety to the textures.

Wow, very nice Sue. Ahhh my own private beach. Too many people on earth, the beaches are packed, but here lies my own paradise. Let me just lay here awhile.

Thank you all! :) I'm glad you noticed the contrast between the inside and the outside, Henrik - that was one of my goals with this picture. :) Radar, stay as long as you want. :)

This is very nice! Reminds me of Las Vegas with the contrast of the desert and the fantacy land inside the casino hotels. What casino on what planet is this? :-)

I like the smaller palm tree in the foreground and the way the sand varies. Good job on the water as well. Definitely a restful spot!
