I've been doing art for a long time. I use to do my work using an airbrush and standard paint brushes, but now use only the computer. I have a MFA degree in painting, but make my living doing graphic design. The work that I do using the computer, looks almost the same as the work I use to do using an airbrush. I've now use AI images to start with and fix and modify them. Except for the ability to create an image a whole lot faster, all that has changed is the clean-up. "click".

I think that's the most elaborate time machine set I ever seen!

Thanks

Outstanding image. Such great detail. I, too, am intrigued with time as you probably noticed with some of my images. Marked this as a fav. :-)
bob4artist
Thanks. Yes, time is not a constant. The faster you go the slower time goes, the slower you go the faster time goes. Einstein.

Hi Bob…sorry I have not been around for some time..just getting old. This is quite an image and looks like you have mastered AI. I have not ventured into this area spending my time these days relearning my old programs. Keep up the great work..this looks so interesting.
bob4artist
Nice to hear from you. I was wondering what happened to you. Like you, I'm getting old too. The site has changed since you were here. It doesn't seem to be as creative to me. I too have a lot of programs and have to relearn some of them when the need arises. Thanks for the complement on my work. AI is fun. Creating art with words. So much cheaper than buying models.

now THIS is a cool time machine

Thank you

Crikey look at the detail and realism. Yes me too, with the time fascination...This is supreme prompting yet again. If you want to do any more sci-fi feel free because I will be sat here waiting...can't get enough. :) Oh how did the Art Show go? Look forward to an update. :)
bob4artist
I haven't gotten the results from ComiCon yet. Next week. The other show here isn't till the end of next month. It just takes so much time getting ready, matting, framing, printing, drawing. The part that I don't like about art.

Fantastic !
bob4artist
Thank you.

I would imagine it would have to be at least this complex! If you did have a time machine, when would you go I wonder? Beautiful idea of how one may look!
bob4artist
Thanks, Amanda. If it also made me younger too, I would go back to the 70's. I had a great time in the art department at the university with my friends. Did you know that if you put an "F" in front of the letters on the art building that it would spell "Fart"?
AmandaT
@bob4artist Heh, did anyone ever add that F? :D I'm glad you had such a great time then. It's always nice to be able to relive good moments
bob4artist
Yes. They cut out an aluminum "F" that matched the letters that were posted on the art building and glued it there. It only lasted a couple of days. My other favorite funny thing is that they asked one of the visiting artists to design a poster for the art department. They didn't want to do it, but they made them. So, she got about 15 art students (men and women) to go to an empty lot and take down their pants and bend over. She took a photo and used it on the poster, which read "Get your BA at San Jose". The students loved it and all the posters were gone in a day. I was dead center. They made T-shirts too. I have one of them (I'm on it). Non-destructive fun times.
AmandaT
@bob4artist OMG you all certainly sounded like you had so much fun. What funny and creative mischief you all got into!
bob4artist
Yes, I miss my group. We called ourselves "The artsy fartsy society". We even had buttons that said "AFS". - Bob
AmandaT
@bob4artist Maybe you should meet up again and open your own art exhibition. =)
bob4artist
Too long ago. I kept in contact after college with most of them for about 5 or 6 years, but then lost contact with them. College and art school were binding elements. After school life swallowed them up and their life changed. It's how life is. Like acts in a play.
AmandaT
@ bob4artist Aww, that's such a shame.
