Taken at St Katherines Docks London England with a Fuji Finepix 2800z. I am new to photography so any comments most helpfull! Thanks for viewing. JP

oohh!!! the strings and the water create a big contrast. the texture of the water is calm but the string seem got a kind of movement. i like mono tone.... this creates the shades.

I agree with toxic, the b&w probably has a greater impact on the image as a whole than if you showed it in color. By throwing the background out of focus, it brings your eye back to the rope, which is the "hero." Nice job JP!!
