so very sad your dearest mom has left you dear Barb. i have you in thoughts and prayers. a eautiful capture of the blooming flower. my mother is 88 and will be around for awhile, her health is great at 88.

i was so moved by this, and all you've done and been through, and the radiant and so-caring bond between you and your mom. She glows through your words. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I know acceptance is a journey and takes time. But the glow that's coming from you is so moving. I wish you all the comfort in the world, Barb, and for your family too. 96 is an amazing age---and I know you helped her immeasurably to reach that age, and she was so strong and loving throughout. She must've been a beautiful soul---and gave the world one, in you. My deepest condolences and my deepest blessings as well. I hope the journey (esp as the intense first weeks recede) brings you peace and great love in the end. I can understand your feelings and emotions, as I went through all this myself during a similar number of years. Time heals, as people say, but never erases the joys and hardships of such a mission. You should be immensely proud of what you've done all these years.
