Description
So there is a feud rocking the happy Rendo community so I thought I would U.N. it and create a peace keeping force to maintain the harmony here.
I popped downstairs to the basement, (This is only one wing of my basement :), pulled the cover off my Commodore 64, hit the on button and started building my peace keepers.
The misinformation and the need to make Doritos currency must stop....lol (I cannot be bribed by Doritos...but Beer would be a great place to start for anyone who is in need of an army of Peace Keepers, but I will never admit to that if asked.)
Hi everyone and thanks for dropping by and busy day today but tomorrow I have a free day and looking forward being inspired by your galleries :)
Not my best work and sure did a number on my CPU...peaked at 96C briefly doing this single render straight out of Daz so I my need to go back to creating layers and photo-shopping them together to keep my cpu safe our at least have smaller ideas...lol. (never gunna happen)
Adjusted brightness and added border and tag in Photo Shop CS3. Lots of kit-bashing with central character, G8 base.
Thanks again for dropping by and appreciate your time and any comments you wish to leave, peace :)

seems like that name/s is gaining popularity, great job all over.
Steff_7
Yes they are...sort of reminds me of the fun times I had here on in like 2009 when Mikeerson and Havecancer used to mess with me in the same fun way. Helped me learn so much about Poser very fast back then :)
Thanks for dropping by, I appreciate it :)

Oh thank goodness a real solution. Good thing as I can't possibly eat any more snacks waiting for something to happen.
Super image, Steff. :-))))
Steff_7
I am trying to help you with your diet rather than deal with the stresses of this continuing drama :)
Thank you and for dropping by :)

Commodore 64? Oh yes, I remember now ... that's the one Cleopatra used back in Egypt.
As for peacekeepers --- they hardly ever work --- they just prolong a war! Trust me, my agents got it covered! :) ;)
Steff_7
Yes the 64 was great at desiging pyramids for sure...lol
Doesn't matter if the peace keepers work out or not cause I can always make more and I was hoping for as beer bribe :)
Thank you and for dropping by :)

This looks great, yeah you have to do the same tricks Hollywood doe's to get a scene some times. The Vic 20 and 64 was my first Pc, but the Amiga was my favorite back in the day.
Steff_7
Always wanted an Amiga...they looked so flash but unfortunately I never got one, went straight to a giant 386 (lol) after my 64 and didn't miss the data cassette for a minute after the change :)
Thanks for dropping by :)

Woooooww........Outstanding work!!!!👍🙋♂️

Comodore 64. Oh yeah, I remember it. I went the Atari way with a slew of different ones, with the Atari ST 1040 being my fave. Even with an Apple Imac and I7 pc surrounding me, I still miss the Atari. Oh, great pic, by the way!!
Steff_7
Lol and thanks. Those were the days when tech was wondrous and a frustrating mystery but always fun :)
RodS
Dang.... And here I thought I had a big basement. I have a proton accelerator down there, you know... OK, this is starting to get out of hand... I may have to reassign a few divisions of TNA to get things back in order again.... 😉
This is really great, my friend!
Steff_7
Do it we need the peace...lol
Thanks for dropping by Rod :)
RodS
Oh, those were the days... Mikeerson, Hadcancer, and several others.. Wonderful memories!
Steff_7
They were great times and we played together well, Mikeerson, havecancer, capergirl, faemike55, Ben Bishop, J5keep6, Vice, Darwins Mishap to name a few. Learnt so much from those people :)
JohnnyM
Wow, what an amazing image you did on a Commodore 64...this is a miracle that you were able to accomplish this with old school technology! (OK I am laughing too much to keep a straight face right about now) Yet if this was possible I would instantly head over to e-bay and put in a few bids on a few Commodore 64 systems capable of doing this.
I think Max and Nanothect will appreciate this unification image of yours, but I somehow feel the end of the good-natured feud these two have going has not been met. This site needs more talented artists like them and yourself to invigorate this site with a much needed energy boost!
Your art work is awesome as always, enjoy the day my friend! :-)
Steff_7
Your right...if the old 64 could get close to this I could saved 5K and bought a couple of them instead of the PC I have now :)
Yes, I remember fondly when the community here was always fun, sharing and educational. With any luck those days will return :)
We are all talented Artists in our own right here I think. Thanks for dropping by and hope you have a great day as well :)

I just had a nice phone chat with Mike (faemike55) up in Washington. He's doing well, but not rendering as his 'puter wasn't up to the task last time we talked. He's had a few health issues but nothing terribly serious from what he told me.
We took a little road trip in 2019, and headed up to the Pacific Northwest. We had a great visit with Mike. There's a photo of Mike and me here.
Steff_7
Thats cool Rod that your still in touch with such amazing people and good to know that he is well and will check out your link for sure :)
Thanks for dropping by :)

Wow, very cool image! Really love how this came out.

Fantastic sci-fi image. Very cool scene and badazz looking Peacekeeper. Marvelous!
Steff_7
They will be cool and fearsome peace keepers when they are done...well I hope so...lol
Thanks for dropping by :)

Flippin' Outstanding render! How you manage these images is beyond me...
Sorry it took so long to view this one, but I've been busy trying to 'delete' people. Uhm I think you were next on the list...
No worries now though it's all academic... but I did have a hanger full of beer for you until someone nuked it!!
Steff_7
I have been monitoring your situation from a far and nuking beer is unforgivable, unforgivable !!!
Creating these images depends on 2 things, cold and beer...lmao
Thanks for dropping by, starting to get a little time free to play the catch up game and I also noticed as I wandered through your gallery the other night I see that I once commented on a little work of yours called DIRTY REEVERS way back in 2007....we have been here too long...lol
Nanothect
WOW WTFudge!
You might have noticed I skived off in 2010 for 14yrs to play games! I've pretty much been in the 'Borderlands' universe all that time. A damn fine franchise developed by an 'Aussie' studio!
Steff_7
lol....also disappeared into gaming for a few years....darn consoles.
