Description

With their coloration & markings, when the White-cheeked Barbet sits still and perches upright, they are difficult to spot. They feed in trees, for diverse fruits, flowers, nectar, and animal matter. Usually, they are alone but sometimes they can be seen in groups of over 20. It has expanded its range into several human-dominated habitats in Southern India.
