Description

U-1270 Der Bullenhai (The Bull Shark) Flagship of the new Type VIIC/42 1707 U-Boats. With a crew complement 25 to 30 men, and a much stronger pressure hull, with skin thickness up to 28 mm (1.1 in), she would have nearly 40% deeper crush depth as the previous types. She had a range of 8,500 nmi (15,700 km; 9,800 mi) at 10 knots (19 km/h; 12 mph) surfaced & 80 nmi (150 km; 92 mi) at 4 knots (7.4 km/h; 4.6 mph) submerged. Now she was ready to take her place as the lead boat, in Wolf Pack 27 in the central Atlantic. I do know there are many flaws in this piece, and while I did go back to correct them a render time of 11hr's & 44min's was just to much
