Description
Procyon received a transmission from another bot-probe which discovered signs of an artifact on another unexplored planet, this time under water.
Captain Flynt went down with a team for a closer look and found several sections of a craft of unknown origin. They collected their data and samples, then headed back, but a situation arose. An unknown, frightening sea-creature began chasing them down and cornered their shuttle-craft.
The security chief, his finger on the trigger, said, "Do we blast it?"
"Wait! Just hold off," said Flynt, "if it starts damaging us, do it."
The creature wrapped its huge claws around the craft and began peering inside, as if curious. For a long minute the team was near panic, their hearts racing, then suddenly the creature slowly pulled away and swam into a cavern. Everyone expressed a sigh of relief, "Whew! That was close!"

But if you had blasted it, its parents and big brothers would have come out and the entire crew would now be fish food!

see that's why you have to incorporate other unorthadox measures for defence. Like shuttle craft fart capability, or peanut butter power shooters stuff like that. just sayin the creature is cool and nice job on craft debris
