Fortunatly I found some Oceanides left from last Year on my Desk. I cite myself: :)
"The true nymphs of salty waters. The ancient greeks listed thousands of them, they are practically innumerable.Their origin is polyphyletic, so is their appearance. Some seem to show strong adaptations to the living in ever restless oceans. Their eyes reflect the great blue open, or the deep sea.
In contrast to their gentle sisters of the rivers, they are dangerous in different ways. If You see one - time to get out of the waves instantaneously!
And - as always - avoid their eyes!!!"

These images are great I always find it funny old stories tell of women who lived in the sea and killed mare humans But there is always a lack of stories about men living the same way But then dose state that there is more things in Heaven and the Earth than we will ever know.

They protect the water, that should be a nice task, yet I find most of them looking sad, as if they are very lonely. Anyway, I find them very beautiful to watch. Only the latter looks a bit dangerous to me ;-).
