Description
First, the bad news.
There has been efforts in Canada to protect our native turtle species but unfortunately sometimes nests get missed by us humans but not by the predators. A couple nests that weren't spotted and thus not covered by turtle protectors had gotten dug up and sadly the eggs were eaten as evidenced by the remains.
But fortunately with the bad news, comes the good news: most of the nests have been found and protected and many baby turtles have been safely escorted to the water! See all the good news in my other image posts in the gallery.
