I got my username from Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" comic book series (DC Vertigo). It refers to a city populated by undertakers, whose life work is to learn and respect the funerary customs of every culture in the universe. Some time ago, I got curious, and looked up "litharge" in the dictionary, and learned that it also refers to lead oxide, used in the manufacture of paints and inks. Seemed appropriate for an art-related site.
What do you want to know about me? I'm 31, married, no kids, five cats, and an agnostic vegetarian with very diverse musical tastes. I live in Texas and am a full-time college student majoring in English with a double minor in Fine Arts and Mass Communications. If you're really interested, or bored, the URL below is to my personal website, where you can read some of my writings and see more of my artwork.

Wow! You have captured a lot in that expression - a brooding, cynical, suspicious face. Nicely done! And welcome to 'osity! I always thought your work was too good for 'otica, anyway.

Nice job! I like the emotion, and it seems the character is exaggerated by the camera angle. good job!

This is a good man, but a troubled man, whose reign has been filled with tragedy. The character is somewhat exaggerated, because I was going for a "monumental" feel. Thanks, Katerina. :) After getting one of my works trashed on 'otica because the woman had on clothes, I think I'll be hanging out here a bit more.

I do like... The lighting is great, i like the way his hair is too, you cant see too much of it. Great texture too.

This IS truly the best! Very moody indeed. It deserves a perfect 10. You must have been listening to "Elysium".

Very well done. The expression is great. Textures are wonderful. The green-gold circlet could stand a little more shadow. The eye's gloss is a little distracting.
