Hi all and hope your well :)
I am pleased my Game Over Part 2 has returned and the result of missing a tag was definitely my fault for sure but I guess my issue is that is Mods remove something and then restore it to its original location.....not a good policy. Put it back at the front of the cue, not back into a now forgotten slot it was removed from....people do not always go digging to see uploads that have been missed especially when they do not know they exist.
A perfect example of this was the other post taken down in 2023 - Gomez plays with Trains, it was gone for 72hrs min and other than the those very few who had already seen, commented, faved and liked, no-one ever looked at that work again and I never received an explanation, ever, so to my thinking, I was punished.
Why did it take so long to work out I didn't appropriately tag my Art ??? Based on the content of that image wouldn't it have been a quick fix ??? I did notice I had not tagged the piece but by then I could not change anything anyway to avoid this issue.
Its not about clicks and views its about having the same opportunity for my work to been seen between the gallery flooding images for a brief moment and to see if my skills, imagination are keeping up with my previous posts. Just wish to be on the same playing field as everyone else.
Policies and TOS are important for everyone and policies only work when the environment remains static and when the environment shifts then policy needs to be reviewed, changed or maintained to suit the new environment and communication is a key part of that change.....don't just remove peoples work and tell them nothing as that will always result in a negative and emotional response.
Maybe this event was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak, my real life is stressful enough with looking after my partners health, fighting to preserve my parents estate for all the beneficiaries and the 1st anniversary of my Mother's passing is fast approaching and very much in my thoughts lately....don't need empathy as my life is really good compared to many people I see and hear about.
Simply, if you take it down, put it back like it is a new post on that day you put it back Rendo is all I am saying.
Finally, my Muse is completely gone, have not even had the urge to turn my PC on these last few days and have zero interest in creating any artwork for me or for uploading so I will be taking a vacation until my muse returns, I have no idea how long that will be, weeks, months, years???? IDK
I am leaving my gallery up as incentive to motivate me to create and add to what I have already posted again one day. I do not post on other sites and know as a spectator those sites also have their issues as well.
Anyway....nuff said, Thank you all again for all your support, encouragement, laughs, friendship and wish you nothing but to excel in whatever medium you use to create your visions. I greatly appreciated your responses to my previous post and they gave me a lot to think about, re-evaluate but ultimately, right now I do not wish to see or create anything Art related....sorry but hey, there is always time to catch up with your works in the future :)
This post was a WIP that is now finished cause I stuck my tag on it and cant be bothered to finish it. Thanks for dropping by and have an awesome day...

If you simply repost an old image as a new item, it should appear at the front, wouldn't it?
And as for inspiration getting depleted, it happens to me all the time. There isn't a single hobby or interest that I can sustain at full power forever --- I simply shift to something else until my inspiration charges back up.

Brrr,,, looks cold.
Just delete the one they put back.....and upload again with the tag. It should show up the day you post again. I see people do that all the time, sometimes they put that it is a re-post.

Oh, my friend...... I can sooooooo relate! Been there, done that more times than I can remember. And getting close once again. Trust me, I know how you feel.
With all the BS going on here - never mind the rest of this sad planet - I'm strongly feeling that need for a vacation as well. Send that Chinook to me, and I'll be all packed and ready!
I totally agree with you on the removal of images, although I would do what ladylake suggested.
Hope you're not gone too long, or permanently. We've already lost a LOT of talented folks here; many of them long-time friends.

I was thinking the same thing as max- and ladylake. People have and do repost images from time to time and that will get it to the front, you can delete the old one or not up to you. Of course, they do add (Repost) in the title so people will know. As far as your muse I understand that since I have not posted anything since July 14th and July 7th before that Feb 17th except for one I posted a couple days ago on Sept 30th which you may or may not have seen. Not sure when I will post another one, but in the meantime, I come here to Rendo to view and comment on other people's images.
Some of those people that post many images in a day or week I have viewed and commented on don't seem to have time to leave a comment on something I created, and it may have only been one post in a month or longer. I always leave a comment on everyone that has left a comment on my creation even if I have never seen them before it only seems polite.
Hope to see more of your work in the future.

Ooooo... I actually find this rather peaceful and beatific. I wanna be there with the Yetis, watching the humans going about their curious ways. lol I love the cold, refreshing feeling of the snow and the white lighting. Really nicely done! Sorry about your bummer experience with "Game Over Part 2". It sucks to post something you're proud of, only to come back to find somebody has deleted it or messed with it. I had that happen to an image some time ago. They gave a reason for it (which I disagreed with) but I just left it alone 'cuz my response definitely would have been...emotional. :-/ More sorry to hear your muse is gone. :-( I know it happens - and can be exacerbated by people screwing around with your work - but I have faith it'll return for you when you're ready. Till then, know that your beautiful art continues to inspire and pushes us to do better with our own! Take care and hope to see you back soon!

If I may say so, in the artistic field, waiting for one's muse is likely to last long, when inspiration fails us. Making the first step even without inspiration often solves the problem and redirects us to believing in ourselves. Come back soon, will you .
