Shore leave parties from the starship moved through the corridors, taking advantage of this brief break from their duties.
But two; though unrecognized in civilian clothing, were still on duty and on a covert assignment.
She focused on her quarry. She had already scouted the station, eaves dropping on various conversations and station gossip. She knew who she was looking for and what he could provide her with.
Her cover operative was also close at hand, serving as her protection or strong arm if needed.
