I'm just starting to play with the new Dawn 2 figure from Hivewire (by an all-star team). A lot has changed since I worked with Poser before: - Laptop: from 2015 MBP to Apple silicon MBP M3 max - Poser 13 (with CyclesX based Superfly) - Blender 4.2 - Dawn 2 My first impressions: Dawn 2 delivers everything promised. The mesh is all quads. The edge loops flow over the figure anatomy making morphs at the base resolution *much* easier. Combined with the rig, this also makes the bends much nicer with a lot less JCMs. This, in turn, makes conforming clothing much easier. This is the beginning of making an "Erin" character for Dawn 2. This is also the beginning of some facial expressions. Blender is coming in very handy for this type of thing. The sculpting has really come a long way. I love how you can combine multiple "morphs" as Blender Shape Keys, then tweak the underlying individual keys in sculpting on combined shape. Really helps make a morph (like this smile) that works on the base mesh along with this character.
