Description

My soul weeps and I have no words for what Hurricane Milton and his helpers have left a trail of horrible destruction in Florida. Many thanks to the "Cat Woman Taylor Swift" for her very generous gift (5 million dollars), prayers wont help to give a new Home to the people who have lost everything! (Keystone-SDA) Pop superstar Taylor Swift (34) has donated five million US dollars to the hurricane victims in the USA. They are incredibly grateful to the singer for her generous donation for the care of the victims of hurricanes “Helene” and “Milton”, the aid organization “Feeding America” announced on its social media. The money would go towards providing food and other relief supplies and rebuilding communities. Swift has often donated money after natural disasters in the USA. Last December, following severe hurricanes in the US state of Tennessee, she donated one million US dollars to help rebuild devastated communities. Just under two weeks ago, Hurricane Helene hit Florida. The hurricane left devastation in the south-east of the USA and claimed more than 200 lives. With “Milton”, a particularly strong hurricane is now following on the west coast of Florida.

Very nice image It is time that the people of Earth learn to get along Mother nature can destroy with out any help from humans Mind you I love the well known sayin that insurance comes up with at times like this "An act of GOD" so they do not have to give any help Have you seen that movie "The man who sued GOD" I often wonder if someone tried what would happen

Awesome image!

But what makes my soul weep even more is the Federal Gov. totally wasting Billions of Dollars every week of total waste such as fueling perpetual wars everywhere they can.

Wow Ute, this is an amazing set of images and really drives the point as to how rapidly this planet's weather system is changing and effecting so many lives in the process! That second image of the UFO would perhaps be a great alternative for the many that are trapped in such a storm...hopefully the planet where these beings take you to has better weather than what we are experiencing here in the USA. :-)

Hallo Ute! Lutz

This is fantastic, Ute! A well done artwork and dedication for those suffering in the "Sunshine State," big sis!

I've got a couple buddies (both members here..) in Florida. Both are OK, thankfully.

Let's try this comment again. I'm sure the Florida folks would agree with your work. Superb render. "Art is a lie that tells the truth." Picasso

Very compelling Ms. Ute. Missed the worst of Milton as my place is on the east coast but we had our share of tornadoes. The adjacent neighborhood had one rip through it....

these storms are proof of how overpowering climate change is---and our president-to-be doesn't give a damn about it. He calls it a hoax. God save this world under DT. Your image is a big, cinematic, towering storm cloud, something out of a huge film epic...the colors are deep steely blues and grays, and the lighting is very dramatic.

The front of the image shows water crashing against the shore, and broken structures. It's a terrifying scene. I've been in hurricanes, and the amazing thing is, you can't see the clouds or funnels when you're on the ground: All you can see, from the ground, is everything blowing including trees, signs, roofs, etc. The clouds are visible from a distance, and especially from a plane. (Here, the cloud is in the distance.) Even odder: Suddenly the winds stop, and there is peace---total quiet. But 20 minutes later, the "other side" of the hurricane hits like a tidal wave, and you're back into the explosive torrents again.

A terrifying image, and evocative of what climate change has done to the world, while our "Nero" (DT) sits and plays his fiddle...All first rate work, Ute. I'm at 1 hour and 30 minutes in your gallery,, so I have to move on. (I have to sleep, actually! I'm up late!) But I've only tapped the surface of your offerings. As always, they have huge range and humanity. I hope you're holding on through all your struggles, and that you have enough healing to stay above water. I wish you all the best. And hope this fall brings you and your family beauty. Beautiful work, with a great deal of creativity woven through it, as always.
