Hey there, my name's Christ and thanks for showing an interest. BIOLet's get the name thing out of the way. My parents weren't religous people...they were dumb.
I was named after my paternal grandfather who's name was Christos (Greek heritage, ain't it great) and my parents in their wisdom thought that was too strange a name for a kid. So they dropped the 'os and left me with Christ.
lol
My pedigree is a BS in Fine Art from California University of Pennsylvannia, and I also completed an exchange program with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Illustration/Graphic Design.
Some people have a real mission to there artwork with themes they want to explore. I admire those people cause God knows I;m not one of 'em.
I paint whatever strikes me with an eye towards realism though that can go out the window if the mood strikes.
The two greatest compliments I ever got while in school.
1) "Your the most anal retentive student I've ever taught." My drawing professor at Cal U (after I refused to use charcoal, using a No. 2 pencil instead)
2) "Why are you still here?" My illustration professor at AIP (being the last person in the class on the last day of school to still be working, after he had already given out our grades)
Oh well enough about me. Go look at some artwork!

Absolutely agree with mushypea and my son. The character is lovely. Also like the way You composed the portrait - it makes it even more expressive! The technique is perfect.
