Description

Or entry 111 for Halloween 2024 rendering competition. You might have not quessed it was mine. I wanted to make something different yet Halloweeny, still bit horror and also something that relates to my home country just a little bit and still honoring the given rules that forbids things going too much of to horror side... In my homecountry Halloween is still new holiday as in Halloween. Here it's been visiting the graves of relatives and friends to light up a candle, having bit festive or traditional dishes. So this presents Halloween's arrival to much older tradition. This one comes with some making of shots. Wireframe for that yes, indeed it is 3D and another one from postworking it with GImp. With and from things as following: 3D content: 'Jacko Lantern by 3D Universe The Graveyard ( gate, some tombstones and shovel )by Daz Originals Bush Walking Track by Shredder RDNA Atmospherics - Fog Vol 1 by Daz Originals, RuntimeDNA, Traveler Halloween Fright Table Decor ( some glasses for candles ) by Daz Originals, ARTCollab Colored and Broken Glass Iray Shaders by Daz Originals, JGreenlees DM's Sacrifice ( candle ) by Daz Originals, Danie, marforno LOrez candle set ( one candle ) by Predatron Postwork: Ron's Fog 1 brushes and Ron's Vintage overlays by deviney Hours spent bit over 20, I didn't really count hours, I went on by days. Iray is slow on my machine and more "loaded" scene I try to make on Daz, the more time to render it takes. And I still ended up fusing Iray and 3delight renders together as one had the lights I wanted, other was looking bit better but failed to render the fog. -In the end I wanted to include more fog! Postwork with Gimp and final bit grainy look given with Camerabag Photo.
