Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!
Your comments are always appreciated.

These are two minutes and seventeen seconds of pure creative dramatized bliss that you've come up with here, my friend. This condensed scriptplay is litterally awesome, I wouldn't mind it lasting much more, knowing though all the time spent and the efforts in combining all your exceptional skills in such animations. Well done, and thank you for your supportive presence in my gallery lately

good lord, johnny, ya did it again...are you sure you didn't go to film school? In this 2 minute video, you have enough dramatic camera movement, flash compositions, smooth pans and pull-backs, and great lighting to fit a much longer film. There are directors who siimply understand movement, it's in their veins. Well you take to camera movement like a duck takes to water. It's in your veins.
After your green-soaked intro, you plunge us into the action: We're at a low angle, and we're zipping down a street where we meet the saucer. You don't "present" the saucer, you sweep into it. That's cinema.
Then---something you've done in prev videos too---you reverse the direction by pulling the camera backwards, moving the eye back towards the viewer again---where you reveal the burning/lit-up zombies. Their contrast with the deep darkness is stunning. And you don't show any violence yet, just the threat of it; as these lit-up creatures go rushing down the street. And urban decay is everywhere. You're paying close watch to details in every frame.
Then you pull your camera up and down and across, a real ballet of camera movements---very impressive! Then you follow the saucer; and, in a blast of light, a person drops out of it. It feels liike he's the savior; and the sight of a human-like creature falling through the cascade of light is very impressive!
Then we see the zombies again, walking like zombies: I noticed their actual gate----they walk as if their joints were frozen, and or they were made of metal with huge unmovable bolts. Love that walk.
Then boom: The savior kills the 3 zombies, and they die inside their shield of blazing light. Really impressive, Johnny. Then you end with the saucer shining light in the center. It's a little symphony, as your videos often are. I mean, great directors work a long time on movement like this, there's a musical quality to your work. If you have the time and inclination, watch the film "Soy Cuba" (I Am Cuba)---it's a propaganda film (just warning you) from the 1960s, by a Russian director who clearly favors the SovUnion over the west...but damned his bias: Watch his camera work. Omg. Both Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Copola (Goodfellas & Raging Bull/Scoresese; The Godfather & Apocalypse Now/Copola) saw this film and flipped out. Watch his camera zip across rivers, move through buildings, pan over a street where you can't figure for the life of you how he did it (he was in a factory the second before). Or watch the opening of Touch of Evil (Orson Welles, of Citizen Kane fame): The long unbroken tracking shot through a corrupt decrepit mexican town...I could give other examples, but the point is, you're thinking the way they do, with dramatic movement, sweeps, fine compositions, etc. Another really cinematic piece from you! Belated Happy Halloween to you and your loved ones, and thank you for your always kind and supportive comments. I appreciate them all greatly.
