A striking image and cogent social comment.

The gaze of men on women's bodies transforms them into caryatids. A look even a little more insistent and there they are, prisoners of roles and expectations that are attributed to them, even if one finds them beautiful in the light. Beyond the narrow passage of these conventions that keep them attached, there is the hope of an elevation, through a better education, studies to be free. Winning the cup of first place on the podium is like finally perceiving the invisible form, in hollow as in these images with a double reading: either you see two faces of motherhood facing each other, a doubling of the male gaze, or you see the cup, an attempt at elevation of the emancipation of women.
