Description

The Northern Crown (Corona borealis) in the middle of this Image is a Group of Stars You can see now in the western Sky. It consists of seven or more Stars ordered as a half Circle. Since it is only 3000 Lightyears away, hence very clear to see, even old Egypt and the Greek knew it. The brightest Star is Gemma (The Gem), and close to it a minor Star is said to form a Supernova in Oktober or November 2024. So keep looking out for it to "bloom" in the western sky, it may be the brightest Object next to the Moon for several Days! :) Up from the Crown You can see a white, milky Object. It is not a Nebula, but a Cluster of about 400 massive and distant Galaxies, called "Abell 265". You may see some Twin-Stars in both Images, which is possible, but also have hidden some impossible Configurations. I allowed me the artistic freedom to set two colliding Spiral-Galaxies with many Turns ("Arms") in the Background. Why should they do that? ... ? ... Obviously they took the wrong Turn! ;)

@ chrysaor So sad about the destruction! But I guess that's the bitter part of the circle of life with life and death and creation and destruction!
