Description
The main pilot seemed now incapable of even blinking. Her breath was shallow as she held her fingers rigid at the controls buttons.
The intent concentration of trying to see everything through the crackle of static on the screen.
Sweat beaded on her forehead. Her entire body seemed like it were made of granite and now incapable of moving. She had piloted this massive cruiser through various combat situations and close orbits maneuvers, but this was a mixture of both and neither. She drew a long slow breath, trying to relax even a bit.
She knew she had to be on this; As she was locked onto the vessel before her, the entire fleet was following her lead now. Though she tried not to consider the consequences of even one mistake, it seemed to scream from the back of her mind.
She followed through the twisting turns of the vessel leading them. Relaying on her training and experiences from the past.
Pulling out of another turn. Her eyes widened. She could faintly see it. Something massive directly ahead of them. Partially hidden within the clouds; it seemed to be waiting for them, and the small freighter ahead held its straight line right for it.
