Description
Our Sun is classified as a "Yellow Dwarf", which is not very respectful. In a Distance 150 Million Kilometres away from Earth it has a Diameter of 700.000 Kilometres. It sits on the Orion-Arm of the Milky-Way-Galaxy. A full rotation of the Sun takes 23 Days, a full rotation about the galactic Center 235 Million Years, thats plenty of Time!
It consist of heated Gases of Hydogen and Helium only, in which Hydrogen is the Fuel and is fused in a thermonuclear Reaktion. The Balance between the Gravity and the Expansion by this permanent Explosions holds the Star together.
The Temperature of the Core is 15 Million °C, while the Surface has refreshing 5000 °C. The upwelling ultra-hot Plasma cause Patterns on the Surface, Torches and Flares. As all this chaotic Flow is accompanied by strong magnetic Fields, it can have an EMP-like Influence on Earth (Geomagnetic Storms). The last great Outbreak was ón 3. Oktober. 1989 such an invisible Storm plunged Quebec in Darkness and melted Transformers..
As all things come to an End, the Sun will die. Right now it is in the Middle of a Stars Life, and will last for another 5 Billion Years. It will expand then to a Red Giant, which will devour Mars and Venus, possibly Earth. This will be very uncoszy Situation on Earth!

I'm glad we have 5 billion years during which we can move to somewhere a bit safer! Another fine space-based render!

Agree that this is very satisfactory Information! ;)
But I would love to see if Mankind have developed sideric Bodies and Minds then to let Time flow by and witness all that Glory in Eternam. But the Price may be high also ....

Happy to hear that! But I fear You might feel committed, or want to be polite! I comment on Your Works, because I appreciate them honestly, without this usual "Thit for that!" the People in here have. I will always be happy to read a Comment by You, but You should not feel to be obliged, please! :))
