Description

My Father did not serve in WW1 but he went and done his duty for King and Land WW11 He did not wait to be called up he put his name on the line even thru he was under age to join he still went to save the free world He is now gone like so many of those who put their life's on the line for us to live May they RIP their fight is over My Father went to sleep at the age of 97. He told me war is not a game One thing I will always remember he was on the AA guns and on night duty he was given five rounds of .303 to ward off any attack five rounds I ask you did you ever hear of any attack with less than five in the attack

Too many people treat wars like a game because other people's children fight in them, while their own families remain safe and far away. Every war since 1950 could have been avoided, but wasn't ... and a few people always profited from all that destruction.

Looking at the UK today I can understand why people wonder why so many died - for this... We have been betrayed by our politicians.

It is the same the world over The politicians say lets go and have a little war but do they go to the front line or sit at home with their shoes off in front of a big warm fire

This is a wonderful dedication to your father and his service.

My father also served in WW2, in the Army Air Corps, which later became the US Air Force. He left us a few years ago in his 90's as well. Miss him greatly.
