your experience in art (and cinematography) shows in your work, in the delicate perfection of each creature and item in your images, in your way of separating everything so that it stands alone and yet is always part of the whole, in your modeling---i mean in the pre 3D sense, of shaping your shade to give tactile shape to your subjects, and so on. You even give shadows to clouds and the sun, moon, etc...making some of these like cutouts. I realize this is a paper train, but you have a way with objects in your other pieces too, that makes each one stand out on its own.
Here, the train is wonderfully toylike, as are the tracks and packed dwellings around it. Love the orb in the sky---almost a ball of felt---and the contrast of the deep rust tones of the front with the plaintive atmospheric tones in the back. Beautiful work. And the two 19th C men add a touch of humor to the whole...
