Description

I need some different grasses / plants for the foreground as this takes far too long to render. About 1 hour at this resolution!!! Where can I find some decent plants and stuff?

You can free download plants on 3dcafe.com or 3dplants.com.I don't know if you've been there, but I think those models are quite good for free stuff.

It may have taken awhile to render, but it's absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing it.:)

This is a fantastic image! As for the grass, if you have PSP you could make picture tubes of your favorite grasses. I've done this but you have to place then carefully. :-)

Along the lines of what rockets was saying, if you use the picture tubes on a separate image, then copy and paste them as a transparent selection you'll have a lot more control over placement. You just want to set the background color as near as possible to the background color of the images you're working with. This looks quite good, by the way.

Nice image....try using alpha planes for the foreground plants. They consume very little memory and can be rendered in Poser very well or check out 3dmodelz store for some 'ready made' ones called the 'foreground tool'.
