Description
In the waning years of the Colowonian Empire, the planet Shamla was established as an imperial retreat. Powerful rulers can never truly rest, however, and so a grand hall was built in which affairs of state could be conducted.There, the governors of the empire's fifty worlds, along with ambassadors from a hundred more planets, came to pay their respects.
Now, three centuries later, the empire is long gone. Shamla is a backwater planet, overshadowed by the more advanced, and more populous worlds of the League of Suns. The grand hall of the emperor, now called the Hall of the Ancestors, is a museum, where reenactors dress up in the clothing of ancient diplomats and ambassadors to educate and entertain the visitors.
