Description

This is a typical street of a small medieval town called Erice, often shrouded in the mist, located on the top of a mountain in the westernmost of Sicily. I sometimes go up there to inspire myself, and.... hehehehe, I'd take a lot of shots of its wonderful musky walls and cobblestone streets, if I only had a digital camera. Hope I'll get one, sooner or later. Just 3 hours to make it with Bryce 5, plus a little postwork with Adobe Photoshop Mats (except those ones in the background, from a friend) are from 3DTronic (http://home.zonnet.nl/textures01/index.htm) and Animax (www.animax.it), ironworks by Isaura Simon (www.isauras.com), street-lamp from Bryce stuff, foreground foliage from 3DModelworld (www.3dmodelworld.com). Carlo, bellissima. Amo moltissimo Erice (ci ho anche iniziato una storia d'amore, per cui per me avrsempre un'atmosfera magica) e sei riuscito a cogliere il bagliore del sole della Sicilia, il modo in cui rende le case, gibianche, quasi abbaglianti. L'uso della luce stupendo, coscome i materiali, la composizione e il post. (Mi piace moltissimo l'uso "selettivo" dell'AA -- almeno, immagino che la sgranatura dei materiali in alcuni punti e non in altri sia dovuta a questo). In pi come gidicevo, hai toccato una mia corda particolare... :o)

Wow, Belissima indeed! I wish I could have views like this in my locality here in Southern California =). The colors and the lights are oh, so nice. And the soft blur makes it so fresh and dreamy.

Dear Carlo, I love this picture as it reminds me of my home. The blue is very nice in there. The branch in the foreground makes it feel like you are looking from behind one of those windows as in the alley. Very beautiful, thank you. Nina
