Description

Second beauty shot of a San Cristobal class Colonial Deep Space Explorer, destined for new worlds orbiting Alien Suns. It caries within it the hopes of a dying Earth, and the future of mankind. I know the Ag domes are technically facing the wrong way for them to have proper artificial gravity via centrifugal force of the rotating section. When the domes were flipped the aesthetic was all wrong... so yes they rotate but they are not scientifically accurate, and other parts of the ship not rotating will have artificial gravity. So I will have to think of another reason for the rotation...but for now it's because I like the aesthetics of rotating parts on retro-like space vessels. Though I was almost prepared to call this build finished, it is back to a WIP as I have decided it needs more little details and running lights. Another kitbash using the various Davorama G.V.C.S. and F.V.C.S. sets. I was working on this build in summer of 2022 when my main HD on my Workstation developed terminal data corruption that I have slowly been recovering data from for the last 2 years (over 2TB of data in total with a permanent loss so far of about 15%). I am also kitbashing interiors for this as this is for an animated project. Backdrop is another of my quick hand photoshopped space BGs.
