Recently, the Russian permafrost has uncovered an almost perfect saber-toothed tiger cub (Smilodon), which allows some conclusions to be drawn about these certainly fascinating animals.

Big teeth, big feet. Still a cute kitty, no matter how many centuries have passed. Would not want to try petting him though, much safer to admire from the great distance of Time and my computer screen.
