Scene - Problems are always still there in the Cold light of day. Her Hangover begins to kick in now from an evening of bad choices. The first bad choice being mixing several bottles of cheap wine and chasing it with a bottle of whiskey. She looks about breathing in stale air from the cigarette she is smoking and surveys the mess from the night before, strewn clothes and empty bottles now litter the floor. Being passed over for the acting role by that.... that.... quote 'younger upcoming model' certainly did not help her present situation any, but a can of paint up the wall did helped make her feel better. Even if it was only for the briefest of moments. Never did like that painting anyway. Still.......Time to reminise and relive better days.... Flicking the big clunky switch to the 'on' position on the old 8mm projector, she then staggers back almost tripping over the old 8mm movie reels on the floor. Instead un-noticed she knocks over one of the floor candles. She sits down heavily on the cushion in the window, waiting expectently to hear sound of once adoring fans eminate from the crackly old speaker and glimpse the bright jumping light from the projector lens cut through the smoke laden air before hitting the silvered projector screen. Images of a past, a past where she was queen of the red carpet. A past she so longingly wanted to relive and feel alive again. Instead she hears the chatter of the projector jambing and the intense light from the lamp begining to burn through the celluloid film. 'Well' she thinks to herself thats number two, so as problems in general are like busses and always come in three's whats next to put the cherry on top of my day. Well naked flames from candles next to exposed old celluloid film reels....... You know the rest.
