This is a Norwegian Fjord Horse, also known as a Fjord. Since it is not as well known a breed, here is a very brief description of this fascinating horse. It is one of the world's oldest and purest breeds, which originally came from the mountainous regions of Norway & was used as a war mount by the Vikings. It's color is always a variation of dun & it's mane is normally clipped, so that it stands upright.
